Overview
This guide describes how to add a new ShowBiz user to the system.Initial Setup
1. Go to the Utilties tab in the toolbar at the top of the main ShowBiz screen and scroll down to System>Database Users. The ShowBiz Users window will appear as shown below:
2. Either click `Add` to add a new User or select a User in the list and press `Edit` (double clicking a User performs the same action). In either case you will be presented with the ShowBiz User Details screen. Here, set the User Name, Password and Obsolete Status.
Permissions
As of version 3.14.73 a User Security module has been implemented. This allows you to set permissions for each User.
Ticking the system administrator box will make the User an Administrator giving them access to everything in ShowBiz including Admin only functions such as Accounts Export.
Most Users will not be Administrators and in these cases permissions should be granted as necessary.
In the below example the User has been given access to read and write the schedule only:
