Getting Information Out Of ShowBiz
==Overview== ''This guide explains how to display Entrant data from fields that are specific to an Entry Form?'' ==Explanation== Entry Form fields (the fields into which you type an Entrant's details like Animal Name etc.) are completely configurable. You can set up any number of custom fields for an Entry Form. Search types in the Entries Manager screen like the `Entries` and `Contact` can return many different entrants all of which could be using a different entry form, thus custom fields for these Entry Forms cannot be shown when using these search types. If search results could be narrowed down to a specific Entry Form, this would enable these fields to be displayed. For this reason the `Entrants` search type was added to ShowBiz. ==Using The Entrant Search Type== To use the `Entrant` search type: # Open the `Entries Manager` screen and choose an Entry Form from the drop down box # Choose the `Entrants` search type option # Enter additional criteria as required to filter search results On pressing `Search`, one result per Entrant will be returned. Each row will contain the data for the Entry Form specific fields (in the example below the data held for fields in the Entry Form `Cattle` will be returned) followed by data for the Contact assigned to the Entrant and then details about the classes the Entrant has been entered into.
